“"That one stings a little more because we were right there the whole way. Laredo made one more play than we did, simple as that — give them credit. I felt good running the offense tonight, but at the end of the day I'd trade every assist for that game if I could. We'll get back in the gym, look at what we can tighten up in crunch time, and move forward."”

“"It's a tough way to lose, but that's basketball — some nights it comes down to the last possession and it doesn't bounce your way. I liked how we competed against Laredo, especially late, so I'm not going to overreact to one game. We'll watch the tape, figure out the small things we can clean up, and get ready for the next one."”

“"That was one of those nights where the ball just kept finding the right guy, and I was happy to be part of it against Flagstaff. I try not to get too excited either way, win or lose, but I'll admit it felt good to see everybody eating tonight. We'll enjoy it for a day, then it's right back to work — one game doesn't change much this early."”

“"That was about as complete a game as we've played all year — we came out with force and just never let Flagstaff settle in. I felt like everything was going in tonight, but I care a lot more about how we played as a group than my own line. Good teams build off nights like this, so we'll enjoy it and stay hungry for the next one."”
